Educational Psychologist

Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Chair Surrey Specific Language Impairment Special Interest Group

I have over 20 years’ experience working with children and families in various educational and childcare settings including in mainstream schools, special schools, and specialist units. Prior to my role as an Educational Psychologist (EP) I worked as a Speech and Language Therapist for a range of NHS Trusts/Local Authorities in community clinics, mainstream schools and speech and language units, and currently work independently.

This combination of specialist knowledge and experience enables me to assess and deliver intervention for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), Developmental Verbal Dyspraxia, Stammering, and Speech and Language Disorders/Delays.

Passionate about early intervention

My wide-ranging experience of assessing children across many settings has made me all too aware of the importance of early intervention and support. My combined specialist knowledge of Educational Psychology and Speech and Language Therapy enables me to do just that. I have provided much needed assessment and reassurance to many hundreds of parents and brought support and improved understanding of Autism into schools.
